EUGENE, Ore. -- (May 21, 2012) – UO TeachOUT, a two-day conference on educational issues related to gender and sexuality inequality in schools, will be held May 23-24 at the University of Oregon. The event will offer a series of workshops, lectures and a leadership summit.

EUGENE, Ore. -- (May 21, 2012) -- The U.S. Department of Defense announced this month that it has adopted new master plan criteria for sustainable development authored by Mark Gillem, an associate professor in the University of Oregon’s School of Architecture and Allied Arts.The publication includes planning strategies and procedures that were developed over an 18-month period and that will direct construction at the Defense Department’s 300,000 buildings worldwide, valued at roughly $600 billion. The policies also pertain to landscaping and roads at all military installations.
